DENTAL EXCELLENCE
We welcome you at our dental practice Dental Excellence!
Our practice has been created by dentists Filip Jans and Kristel Lochy in 1991.
In September 2024 we moved to our present address Beiaardlaan 35B, a newer and bigger location to receive and help you in the most comfortable way.
Our vision
We aim to make your visit to the dentist a positive experience by informing you as thoroughly as possible about the treatments to be carried out.
By regularly attending continuing education courses, we stay up to date with the latest techniques and materials.
This allows us to offer the most modern treatments available.
Our expertise
Met ons team van tandartsen kunnen wij een uitgebreid gamma aan behandelingen aanbieden.
Hieronder vindt u een kort overzicht.
Prevention
Is priority n° 1 in our practice. By means of brushing instructions and nutrition advice, we will help you to keep your mouth as healthy as possible. Our system of reminders by e-mail or SMS is a great help for the yearly or 6-monthly check-ups.
Conservation
In case of tooth decay, we treat the teeth with a composite filling (= white, tooth-colored filling). When the tooth damage is too important, a prosthetic solution can be proposed.
Pediatric dentistry
The cure of (baby)teeth with children. The treatment of children’s teeth requires a specific approach, we give them this extra attention so that the visit to the dentist becomes a pleasant experience.
Implants
Dental implants are artificial roots that are anchored into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. Once the implant has properly integrated with the bone, an abutment and a crown are placed on top. Removable prostheses can also be supported by implants.
Teeth withening
Teeth can discolor for different reasons: nutrition, aging, intrinsic discoloration (ex. certain medication during the building-up of the teeth), after an endodontic treatment. We can take care to get rid of these discolorations.
X-Raying & CBCT
We dispose of the most modern tools and we only make digital x-rays, in order to minimize the radiation exposure for the patient. “3-D” X-ray imaging gives a full and clear image of the dental situation.
Print scanner
We’re able to take digital impressions for orthodontic, prosthodontic and diagnostic reasons with an optical scanner.
Orthodontic treatments
Is the correction of the jaw and teeth position with children and adults.
After a study on the basis of models, photos and X-rays, we can define the best solution for your problem.
Prosthodontic
Removable (partial or totally) our fixed (crowns and bridges)
Continued care
We guide our patients in the best possible way.

- you can bleach every day or every 2 days, when the teeth are extremely sensitive bleach every 5 days, during the bleaching period try to avoid staining food such as tabacco, coffee, red wine, beetroot, red cabbage, …
